A heartwarming single-plate dish orchestrated by seasonal ingredients and honey. A 'delicious reward' for yourself who works hard.

Newly introduced is the 'Seasonal HACHI&MITSU Plate' using honey, a specialty of Mariko.

Using an abundance of seasonal vegetables, we have created a special dish that balances not only visual brilliance but also gentleness to the body and satisfaction. We use honey from Muramoto Apiary, a local Mariko specialty.

■ Background of Menu Development: A lunch that adds 'a little happiness' to everyday life

To those who spend their busy days working, doing housework, or raising children.

The thought put into this plate is, 'We want you to take your time and treat yourself kindly, at least during lunch time.' With colors that make your heart leap the moment you see the food, and the profound taste unique to honey, it adds extraordinary color to your daily life.

■ 3 Commitments of the 'Seasonal HACHI&MITSU Plate'

1. 'Gentle sweetness and richness' drawn out by honey

A hint of honey is added as a secret ingredient in sauces and dressings. The mild sweetness unique to honey maximizes the umami of seasonal vegetables, allowing you to enjoy a flavor with depth.

2. '3 types of deli' to taste the season

The 3 types of deli that color the plate use seasonal vegetables that are most delicious at that time of year. Because the contents change with each season, there are new encounters with 'seasonality' every time you visit. *Contents will change occasionally depending on purchasing conditions.

3. A refreshing aftertaste. Homemade 'Honey Lemon Jelly'

For dessert after the meal, we offer honey lemon jelly. The refreshing flavor and the gentle sweetness of honey spread out in your mouth, perfect for refreshing yourself for afternoon activities.

■ Touching and enjoying crafts

Wanting to make the time spent waiting for your meal and the moment you eat it special, we have incorporated Shizuoka's traditional crafts throughout the store. Interior panels and lighting made of Suruga bamboo basketry, as well as tea-dyed noren (curtains) and art panels, welcome everyone.

Enhancing the main attraction of the plate are lacquer chopsticks and ceramic chopstick rests. 'Lacquer chopsticks' that fit comfortably in your hand, and 'ceramic chopstick rests,' each with a different expression. Tools that convey the warmth of craftsmen will make your dining time richer.

■ What is Sunpu Studio Takumishuku

Shizuoka City's traditional craft experience facility 'Sunpu Takumishuku' has been operated by the architectural design company Sozosha Co., Ltd. since 2021, and was renewed for the first time in 22 years under the concept of 'a place connecting history and the future' as 'Sunpu Studio Takumishuku'. We have invited leading craftsmen to head each workshop where you can experience Suruga bamboo basketry, ceramics, indigo dyeing, tea dyeing, woodworking joinery, lacquer, etc., aiming to provide irreplaceable manufacturing experiences and produce candidates for successors of craftspeople. In addition, a shop that inherited the taste of a Japanese confectionery store loved locally for many years, and a cafe using honey from a local apiary were opened inside Takumishuku.
