The Saitama City Industrial Creation Foundation (Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture, Chairman: Masanori Nakamura) has selected five companies for the "Saitama City Accelerator Program (SCAP)," an initiative aimed at providing intensive short-term support to businesses within Saitama City. Following a kickoff event held on Wednesday, July 15th, starting at 2 PM in Saitama City, a program will be implemented over approximately seven months, concluding with an achievement presentation on Wednesday, February 3rd, 2027, to help selected participants achieve their quantitative goals.

Saitama City Accelerator Program (SCAP) | Overview

The Saitama City Accelerator Program (abbreviated as SCAP) is a program first held in fiscal year 2025, aimed at supporting ambitious businesses within Saitama City. This program provides selected participants with support such as one-on-one assistance from small and medium-sized enterprise consultants, mentoring from experts, subsidies of up to 500,000 yen, PR, and networking, to accelerate business growth during the approximately seven-month program period.

The Saitama City Industrial Creation Foundation was established in March 2004 with 100% funding from Saitama City. Its mission is to contribute to the promotion of regional industry and the development of a prosperous civic life by supporting small and medium-sized enterprises and entrepreneurs in Saitama City, leveraging the city's unique characteristics, and improving the welfare of those employed by small and medium-sized enterprises. Since April 1st of the same year, it has been operating as a prefectural-level SME support center in the city.
