Yamashinsha Printing Co., Ltd.

Seeking a technology partner for improved adhesion and composite processing to expand applications for "mold-proof film."

Our company possesses "Go Block," a patented mold-proof film made of PE (polyethylene). We are seeking companies that can collaborate with us to develop new processing methods and products, complementing our own technical challenges by utilizing this material.

We are looking for collaboration with companies possessing the following technologies and know-how:

1. Technology for improving adhesion in surface printing: Currently, the mold-proofing component is printed on the film surface, leading to issues with component migration into the contents. We are seeking safe and highly effective technologies, such as coatings, to enhance adhesion while maintaining effectiveness and preventing migration.

2. Composite processing technology with different materials: We are seeking companies that can engage in composite processing technologies, such as laminating our film with other materials, and in product development for new applications (such as food, medical, and nursing care fields) that arise from such processing.

Overview of BIZ SAITAMA (Saitama City Open Innovation Project)

"BIZ SAITAMA" is an open innovation project that matches companies inside and outside Saitama City with the technology needs (technical challenges) faced by manufacturing companies. In fiscal year 2025, there were a total of 165 entries (proposals received) from domestic and international small and medium-sized enterprises and startups for the technology needs of 27 companies, primarily in the manufacturing sector, leading to 118 matches (matching rate: 71.5%). Furthermore, approximately 20 cases have led to concrete progress beyond just matching, such as the start of transactions, prototype development, NDA signing, and PoC planning.

In fiscal year 2026, we are releasing technology needs from 28 companies, including Saitama City Leading Edge Companies (Saitama City-certified R&D-oriented manufacturing companies with unique and innovative technologies), with a total of 34 needs (as of June 4). We are accepting entries from companies with technologies that can solve each technology need on our website, and after entry, we plan to conduct online matching interviews with companies having technology needs on a rolling basis.

About the Saitama City Industrial Promotion Foundation

The Saitama City Industrial Promotion Foundation was established in March 2004 with 100% funding from Saitama City. It aims to contribute to the promotion of regional industry and the creation of affluent citizen lifestyles by supporting small and medium-sized enterprises and entrepreneurs in Saitama City, utilizing the city's characteristics, and improving the welfare of those employed by small and medium-sized enterprises. Since April 1 of the same year, it has been operating as a prefectural and other SME support center in the city.
