Keynote Speaker Added to "SORACOM Discovery 2026": Special Talk on "Sports x Technology" Decided

Cloud Communications Corporation (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Ken Tamagawa) announces that Takaaki Nakamura, Representative Director and President of Tokyo Verdy Co., Ltd., will be a guest speaker at the keynote session of its annual conference, "SORACOM Discovery 2026," to be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2026.

The use of AI/IoT in sports business is gradually expanding from professional and amateur levels to youth development. The possibilities are growing, from connecting with supporters to utilizing data from the field.

In the keynote session, Mr. Nakamura will discuss sports business and technology from the perspective of sports x AI/IoT in a conversational format.

Mr. Nakamura joined the Xebio Group after working at Recruit, A.T. Kearney, and a sports marketing company. He led the launch of sports facility and arena businesses and regional revitalization projects. In December 2020, he became the Representative Director and President of Tokyo Verdy Co., Ltd. He is a practitioner of sports business who has driven organizational transformation into a "group that takes on challenges" and developed the club into a comprehensive sports club with 17 disciplines centered around soccer.
