SORACOM, Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Ken Tamagawa) has launched a new feature for its generative AI bot service, 'Wisora,' allowing multiple AI bots to be added to the same Slack workspace.
Wisora is a service that enables companies to train AI bots on their own web pages and documents to assist with inquiries and information retrieval. By simply registering websites or PDF materials, users can quickly build AI bots with company-specific knowledge. Since multiple bots can be created within a single account, each with different training resources, it is possible to operate specialized bots tailored to specific departments or use cases.
With this update, multiple AI bots can now be added to the same Slack workspace. For example, a company can create a General Affairs bot trained on internal regulations, an HR bot knowledgeable about benefits, and an IT bot with knowledge of internal systems. By placing them in the same Slack workspace, users can get specialized answers in each field simply by mentioning the respective bot. Additionally, on websites and widgets, it is now possible to deploy different bots for different product pages within the same domain.
Simultaneously, the company has launched 'PDF AI Reading,' an optional feature that improves the accuracy of PDF reading using AI. This allows for more accurate training even with PDFs that are difficult to read with standard OCR, such as text on scanned images or decorative text. It can also interpret and transcribe images contained within PDFs, thereby improving the training accuracy for manuals that include screenshots.
The basic features of Wisora can be tested via a free trial. The free trial period has been extended from 7 days to 14 days, making it easier to conduct actual user testing.
SORACOM promotes a 'Real World AI Platform' that connects physical field data and digital internal/external data to AI, turning them into a force that moves the real world. As a digital service that embodies this vision, Wisora rapidly converts internal and external information into knowledge and promotes the business use of AI.
SORACOM aims to 'democratize AI and IoT technology' by providing the latest technologies in an easy-to-use manner centered on IoT, aiming to create numerous use cases and innovations.
