SORABITO Inc., headquartered in Tokyo, Chuo-ku, and led by Representative Director Kazuaki Hakata, announced that Kitaoka-gumi Co., Ltd., headquartered in Mima-shi, Tokushima Prefecture, and led by Representative Director Mafumi Kitaoka, has introduced its "GENBAx Inspection" service, which digitizes construction site inspection forms.

Kitaoka-gumi, established in March 1953, is based in Tokushima Prefecture and is committed to transforming the construction industry into a creative and aspirational profession through comprehensive DX initiatives. Technically, the company standardizes 3D point cloud data acquisition via drone surveying and in-house 3D design data (BIM/CIM) creation. These are integrated with GNSS-linked ICT construction machinery to achieve millimeter-precision construction and enhanced site safety. Furthermore, Kitaoka-gumi's new company building, which will serve as a "DX hub" for remote supervision and cloud-based administrative efficiency, won first place in its category at the 2025 Dezeen Awards. This integration of advanced workplaces and high-tech construction aims to increase young recruits and improve productivity simultaneously.

The adoption of "GENBAx Inspection" addresses the severe labor shortage in the construction industry, focusing on three key areas: transitioning from analog management to real-time data, enhancing client (government) evaluation and order-winning capabilities, and streamlining complex site operations with user-friendly tools. The service enables instant, remote verification and centralized management of inspection statuses, crucial for projects evaluated by bodies like the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. Its intuitive interface is designed to make daily inspections a routine rather than a burden for partner companies.

Kitaoka-gumi plans to expand the use of paperless forms beyond inspections, from individual sites to company-wide implementation, continuously improving operational efficiency based on field feedback.

SORABITO Inc., established on May 12, 2014, with a vision to "co-create an ecosystem for working machinery," will continue developing functions and providing technology to support safety and productivity in construction, addressing industry-wide challenges such as labor shortages and operational efficiency. Their offerings include the "i-Rental series" for rental companies and "GENBAx Inspection" for construction companies, which digitizes various inspection forms.
