Sony Network Communications Inc. (hereinafter, "the Company") will exhibit a 3D experiential booth leveraging Sony Group's technology at the urban music festival "CENTRAL MUSIC & ENTERTAINMENT FESTIVAL 2026" (hereinafter, "CENTRAL"), held in Yokohama from April 3 to April 5, 2026. Through a collaboration with artist Chanmina, who appears in NURO's commercial series, a giant 3D Chanmina will appear at K Arena Yokohama, and content will be developed that allows visitors to experience the fusion of music festivals and technology.
NURO will serve as an official sponsor of "CENTRAL" for two consecutive years starting in 2025, providing network lines and supporting the communication environment at the four venues located in the Yokohama Minato Mirai area and for various online distributions. Additionally, in collaboration with the YouTube channel "THE FIRST TAKE," "CENTRAL MUSIC & ENTERTAINMENT FESTIVAL 2026 / THE FIRST TAKE Powered by NURO" will be exclusively live-streamed worldwide simultaneously.
At its booth in the special venue at K Arena Yokohama, NURO will offer two experiential contents, utilizing "3D Chanmina" recreated with the latest technology, 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS), which pursues overwhelming realism, and XR technology.
① AR Experience: "Super Giant" 3D Chanmina Appears!
A giant 3D Chanmina will appear in an immersive AR experience, set against the backdrop of K Arena Yokohama. Visitors can enjoy an augmented reality experience where 3D Chanmina appears in the real space by holding up their smartphones through the "XR CHANNEL" app. The production features 3D Chanmina welcoming "CENTRAL" attendees from K Arena Yokohama with a finger heart gesture.
② Glasses-Free 3D Experience: Meet "Super Real" Chanmina!
On a large display installed inside the NURO booth, a photorealistic 3D Chanmina will appear, offering the surprise of feeling as if the artist herself is present. Thanks to Sony Group's technology, visitors can enjoy stereoscopic images on a regular display without the need for devices like VR goggles.
Furthermore, visitors to the NURO booth will receive a limited-edition "Don't Stop the Emotion." pop-up card, allowing them to experience a 3D sensation in their hands. Additionally, along the path leading to the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse Red Brick Park special venue, large visuals adorned with the world of NURO's commercial series will be displayed over a length of approximately 30 meters. Visitors can also enjoy messages from NURO to "CENTRAL" attendees.
This year, the Company's internet connection service "So-net" will also newly sponsor "CENTRAL" and exhibit a booth at the K Arena Yokohama special venue. The venue will be enlivened with the "Nogizaka46 x So-net Exhibition," showcasing costumes worn by five Nogizaka46 members who appear in So-net's commercials: Sakura Endo, Haruka Kaki, Teresa Ikeda, Nagi Inoue, and Sakura Kawasaki. Visitors to the So-net booth will have a chance to win one of 1,000 Nogizaka46 original stickers in a lottery.
NURO, together with So-net, will continue to provide various entertainment such as music, anime, games...
