Sony Bank (President and CEO: Keiji Minami / Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; hereinafter "Sony Bank") announced today that starting Tuesday, June 30, 2026, it has enabled authentication via Sony Account on its "Sony Bank CONNECT" app for the web3 entertainment domain.

Purpose of Sony Account Support

Since its release in July 2024, Sony Bank CONNECT has implemented various initiatives in collaboration with companies within the Sony Group. By supporting Sony Account, seamless authentication with services from various Sony Group companies is now possible, allowing for even more convenient and comfortable use.

What is Sony Account?

Sony Account is the "One account" operated and managed by Sony Group Corporation, necessary for using eligible apps and services of the Sony Group.

- Log in to multiple services with a single ID Sony Account allows you to sign in to multiple eligible apps and services of the Sony Group with a single set of authentication information, such as your email address and password.

- Centralized account management Basic information such as email addresses required for authentication is shared and synchronized across services, eliminating the need for individual management for each service.
