*Timothy is the mascot character of Toyota Mobility Toyama, and the keychains are distributed to raise traffic safety awareness among senior kindergarteners.
1. Background and Context
Sompo Japan and Toyota Mobility Toyama aim to improve children's traffic safety awareness as a responsibility of companies involved in the automotive business. Collaborating with the Toyama Prefectural Traffic Safety Association, which promotes local traffic safety to prevent future accidents by instilling traffic safety awareness from early childhood, they are distributing keychains to all senior kindergarteners in the prefecture. This initiative has been conducted since 2023, and traffic safety classes are also held annually in conjunction with the donation.
