Regarding the Conclusion of a "Mutual Cooperation Agreement for Promoting Corporate Health Promotion" with Mishima City

(President and Representative Director: Yuki Shigesada, hereinafter "Sompo Japan Partners") announced that they concluded a "Mutual Cooperation Agreement for Promoting Corporate Health Promotion" with Mishima City, Shizuoka Prefecture (Mayor: Takeshi Toyooka) on March 27, 2026. The purpose of this agreement is to support health management initiatives by businesses within the city and contribute to the health promotion and development of the local community, as well as the creation of a healthy and happy city (a city where all citizens can feel healthy and happy).

1. Background and History

Sompo Japan, SOMPO Himawari Life, and Sompo Japan Partners, as insurance companies supporting the safety, security, and health of their customers, promote initiatives that contribute to the health promotion and development of local communities.

This agreement was reached because the SOMPO Group's various services and expertise were considered to be helpful in solving the challenges related to Mishima City's stated profile of "health and happiness" initiatives.

2. Purpose of the Agreement

Through this agreement, Mishima City, Sompo Japan, SOMPO Himawari Life, and Sompo Japan Partners will promote close mutual cooperation and collaborative activities, respond quickly and appropriately to local needs, and aim to improve services for promoting corporate health promotion.

3. Main Contents of the Agreement

Business cooperation will be carried out in the following areas:

(1) Matters related to the dissemination and promotion of health management and support for obtaining certification as an excellent health management corporation

(2) Matters related to the prevention of lifestyle diseases and health promotion

(3) Matters related to improving the screening rate for cancer and other diseases

(4) Matters related to women's health promotion

(5) Other matters necessary to achieve the purpose of this agreement
