Notice of termination of operation for 'Sompo Japan Puppet Theater Himawari Hall'

SOMPO Holdings, Inc. (Group CEO, Representative Director, President: Mikio Okumura) and Sompo Japan Insurance Inc. (Representative Director, President: Koji Ishikawa, hereinafter 'Sompo Japan') would like to announce that the operation of 'Sompo Japan Puppet Theater Himawari Hall' will be terminated on June 30, 2026, due to renovation work on the Sompo Japan Nagoya Building.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Aichi Puppet Theater Center, a specified non-profit organization, who has cooperated in the operation for a long time since its opening in 1989, to all the visitors, and to all the stakeholders who have supported our activities.

This decision was made in conjunction with the renovation of the Sompo Japan Nagoya Building, which was completed in 1989, with the aim of ensuring safety and improving functionality. A new multi-purpose event space is planned to be installed on the first floor of the renovated building.
