1. Background and History
This initiative is part of the "Automobile Insurance to Protect Tateyama's Nature" activities jointly carried out by Sompo Japan and Shinagawa Group since 2022. The "Automobile Insurance to Protect Tateyama's Nature" involves donating a portion of the profits from the sale of automobile insurance policies to customers to the "Invasive Plant Removal Activities," one of the "Tateyama Nature Conservation Activity Promotion Projects" implemented by Toyama Prefecture.
While we hold a donation ceremony for the "Automobile Insurance to Protect Tateyama's Nature" every March, we also conduct invasive plant removal activities around Tateyama Midagahara and Murodo every summer, driven by the desire to do something with our own hands beyond just donating.
