Sojitz Corporation (hereinafter 'Sojitz') has been selected as a 'DX Stock 2026' jointly selected by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), the Tokyo Stock Exchange, and the Information-technology Promotion Agency, Japan (IPA). The 'DX Stock' selects companies listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange that are undertaking new growth and strengthening competitiveness by radically transforming their business models based on digital technologies. This is the third time our company has been selected, following FY2023 and FY2025.
Sojitz positions DX initiatives as essential for improving corporate value through the creation of value (business and human resources) that responds to market needs and social issues, and began its digital transformation initiatives in FY2021, the first year of Medium-Term Management Plan 2023. In Medium-Term Management Plan 2026 (FY2024-2026), to realize 'Sojitz's unique growth story', we have established 'Digital-in-All' as our management strategy, and are working on the transformation of our business and operations predicated on the utilization of digital technologies such as data and AI.
In this selection, we were evaluated on the steady penetration of field-driven Digital Transformation (DX) through the construction of a robust DX promotion system predicated on AI utilization.
Sojitz will continue to strive to improve corporate value by advancing the value enhancement of existing businesses and the value creation of new digital businesses by combining the power of digital and AI with our diverse business foundation.
