Seibu Shibuya will hold a kelluna. POP-UP STORE from July 21 (Tue) to July 27 (Mon). kelluna. is a fitness wear brand that creates products in its own workshops with local women in Sri Lanka, and communicates concepts of self-love and well-being through its products, based on the concept "Beauty comes from self-love" for Japanese society. This pop-up will also feature items made with consideration for the environment, such as wear made from local deadstock and雑貨 (miscellaneous goods) dyed with leftover tea leaves. A special talk event will also be held to commemorate the opening.

"Shaberukkizumu!" Special Edition Talk Event

A special edition of the Yoga Journal Online serial project "Shaberukkizumu!", where Yuna Maekawa, representative of kelluna., who communicates about Japan's lookism issues through kelluna. and columns, and guests discuss topics like "What is lookism?" and "Is this also lookism?", aiming to talk about various things first! For this special edition, we will invite Mika Horii, a freelance announcer also known as the host of the podcast "OVER THE SUN", as a guest to discuss methods for repelling lookism that pervades our daily lives.

【Profile|Yuna Maekawa】

Graduated from the Faculty of Law, Keio University. After working for a private company, she obtained a Master's degree in International Relations from Waseda University Graduate School. She encountered Sri Lanka through her work at the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). Later, she was stationed in Sri Lanka as a specialist researcher for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In August 2019, she founded the fitness wear brand kelluna. with the theme of self-love and became its representative. Through the brand, she communicates about Japan's lookism issues. Currently, she operates kelluna. while traveling between Japan and Sri Lanka, and gives lectures on topics such as "gender" and "lookism" at companies and schools. Her book is "Whose Kawaii Is It Anyway? The Story of Starting a Business in Sri Lanka to Fight Lookism" (Icarus Publishing).

【Profile|Mika Horii】

Born in 1972. Former TBS announcer. She is active in a wide range of fields, including producing concerts with the New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra and performing in her own storytelling events. She is in charge of many programs, including the podcast "OVER THE SUN", TBS TV's "Sakagami &指原 no Tsuburenai Mise", and NHK's "Rekishi Tantei" narration.
