SoftBank Robotics Corporation (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Fumihide Tomizawa; hereinafter 'SoftBank Robotics') announces the launch of the automated cooking robot 'BOTINKIT Omni' today, expanding its lineup of cooking robots. The product will also be exhibited at 'Health Management EXPO 2026,' held at Tokyo Big Sight starting today.

In recent years, the food service industry has faced chronic labor shortages and rising labor costs, increasing the need for stable meal delivery with limited staff. Beyond restaurants, challenges such as consistent cooking quality, operational efficiency, and large-volume meal preparation are critical across various settings, including corporate cafeterias, hotels, and central kitchens.

Leveraging its expertise in robot deployment and operational support, SoftBank Robotics is expanding its range of cooking robots to support automation, labor reduction, and consistent quality. 'BOTINKIT Omni' supports large-volume cooking for up to 30 people and is designed for use in high-demand environments such as school lunches and corporate cafeterias. SoftBank Robotics will propose optimal cooking robots tailored to kitchen environments and menu offerings, addressing a wide range of challenges in commercial kitchens.

◾️ Product Overview

'BOTINKIT Omni'

A high-capacity automated cooking robot that replicates chefs’ techniques, including stirring, heat control, and seasoning, through programming. It automatically dispenses 13 types of seasonings and uses proprietary 3D立体 cooking and precise temperature control to handle diverse cuisines such as Chinese, Japanese, Western, and ethnic dishes. It can cook meals for up to 30 people in a short time, and after cooking, the pot tilts with one touch to assist with plating, contributing to labor reduction and consistent quality in corporate cafeterias and meal facilities. The robot has obtained U.S. certifications from FDA (U.S. Food and Drug Administration), NSF (National Sanitation Foundation), UL (Underwriters Laboratories), and FCC (Federal Communications Commission), as well as Japan Food Safety Certification.
