SnackTime Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Hiroki Ishida) operates the simultaneous viewing app "oshiparty," which will launch a special "Soccer Simultaneous Viewing" event in conjunction with the international soccer tournament season. Partnering with soccer streamers, this event enables users to easily enjoy both the live match and the streamer's commentary simultaneously on just one smartphone.
What is "Simultaneous Viewing"?
"Simultaneous viewing" refers to a viewing style where audiences watch the same content in real time alongside a streamer and enjoy their live reactions. This practice has recently become a popular part of online streaming culture. However, because smartphones generally cannot play multiple videos at once, viewers have previously needed workarounds such as using a PC or multiple devices.
oshiparty solves this by allowing users to simultaneously play YouTube streams and subscription video services like U-NEXT or Amazon Prime Video—all on a single smartphone.
Enjoy the Match and the Streamer's Commentary on One Smartphone
Since its release in March 2026, oshiparty has primarily been used for simultaneous viewing of anime and movies. The company now aims to extend this experience to sports viewing.
Watching sports offers the unique excitement of real-time unpredictability. Just as watching with friends or at public viewing events enhances the experience, enjoying the thrilling moments—like goals or decisive plays—alongside a streamer’s reactions is becoming increasingly popular.
To make it easier to enjoy both live soccer broadcasts and streamer commentary on a single smartphone, oshiparty is launching the "Soccer Simultaneous Viewing Event" in collaboration with popular soccer streamers. The event will run from June 29 to July 20.
A dedicated page within the app will feature participating streamers and allow users to enter the simultaneous viewing screen with one tap, either from scheduled or ongoing streams.
For this event, oshiparty has newly implemented in-app web browser access to DAZN. Additionally, premium features such as full-screen mode, normally available via paid subscription, will be temporarily unlocked.
Please note: This functionality is not an official partnership or feature provided by DAZN or other video services. Users must access these services through their own subscriptions and viewing environments.
An Android beta version developed for this event will also be released soon.
