Making Labor Saving and Productivity Improvement More Accessible! "Labor Saving Navi," Where Industry-Specific Know-How is Intuitively Understood, Released Today.

The Independent Administrative Agency Organization for Small & Medium Enterprises and Regional Innovation, SMEs Support, Japan (SMRJ) (Director-General: Masaru Miyakawa, Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo) (hereinafter referred to as "SMRJ"), in execution of the "Labor Saving Investment Promotion Plan" compiled by the Cabinet Secretariat, and in cooperation with the Small and Medium Enterprise Agency and relevant ministries and agencies, has today launched "Labor Saving Navi," a support site that provides hints for taking the first step towards labor saving and productivity improvement, to address challenges such as labor shortages and wage increases faced by small and medium-sized enterprises and small-scale businesses.

"Labor Saving Navi" illustrates industry-specific challenges and their solutions with clear diagrams, and provides specific case studies and consultation information in a one-stop service.

In addition to small and medium-sized enterprises and small-scale businesses, it can also be utilized as a support tool by regional support organizations such as industry associations, chambers of commerce, SMEs associations, financial institutions, and Yorozu Support Centers (including productivity improvement support centers) when interacting with businesses or providing accompaniment support.

This is a website where small and medium-sized enterprises and small-scale businesses can intuitively grasp solutions and know-how for labor saving and productivity improvement through illustrations, easily and for free. By selecting business concerns by industry such as food service, accommodation, transportation, and manufacturing, specific solutions, case examples, and actionable steps will be displayed, and consultation points can also be confirmed. It supports a wide range of efforts, from those who don't know where to start to those who have already decided on candidate tools for implementation.

Utilization of "Labor Saving Navi" will: serve as an additional point requirement in the selection review for the "SME Labor Saving Investment Subsidy (General Type)" and "Digitalization/AI Introduction Subsidy (excluding the Multi-party Collaboration Digitalization/AI Introduction Slot)," and be a priority requirement for identifying the "Labor Saving Investment Subsidy Project in Tourist Areas/Tourism Industry."
