The Organization for Small & Medium Enterprises and Regional Innovation (SMRJ) (President: Masaru Miyagawa, Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo) is pleased to announce the selection of grant recipients for the 3rd call for applications for the SME New Business Development Promotion Project (New Business Development Subsidy), which is being implemented under consignment to a consortium led by Hakuhodo Inc.

Project Overview

The New Business Development Subsidy supports the forward-looking challenges of SMEs and other businesses that aim to enter new markets or develop high-value-added businesses, differing from their existing operations.

Selection Results

・Application Period: Tuesday, December 23, 2025 to Thursday, March 26, 2026

・Number of Applicants: 1,212

・Number of Selected Applicants: 423 (of which, 176 were eligible for customs duty points)

*Applications involving collaboration between multiple companies are counted as one applicant, regardless of the number of members.
