Kyoto University Katsura Venture Plaza: Tenant Recruitment

SME Support, Japan (Organization for Small & Medium Enterprises and Regional Innovation, JAPAN) Kinki Headquarters is recruiting tenants for the incubation facility "Kyoto University Katsura Venture Plaza," which is developed and operated based on the Act on Strengthening Management of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises.

2. Location

[North Building] 1-36, Goryo Ohara, Nishikyo-ku, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture

[South Building] 1-39, Goryo Ohara, Nishikyo-ku, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture

(Within "Katsura Innovation Park," adjacent to the south of Kyoto University Katsura Campus)

3. Application Acceptance Period

From Thursday, April 16, 2026, to Friday, April 24, 2026, until 5 PM

For applications mailed, they must arrive by 5 PM on Friday, April 24

Applicants will undergo an interview on the afternoon of Tuesday, May 12 (scheduled)

If tenancy is not decided for applications received during the above period, applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.

4. Publicly Offered Rooms

[North Building] ● Newly offered rooms: Total 6 rooms

[South Building] ● Newly offered rooms: Total 1 room

• The amount includes 10% consumption tax (subject to change if the tax rate changes)

• Upon moving in, a security deposit equivalent to 3 months' rent (excluding tax), the pro-rata rent for the month of the start date, and the rent for the following month must be paid, and a fixed-term building lease agreement will be concluded.

• A separate rent subsidy system by Kyoto City is available (refer to separate document)

5. Facility Usage Start Date

Tenancy is possible from mid-July 2026 onwards, after the conclusion of a fixed-term building lease agreement.
