'Perfumer Byblis,' the grand prize-winning work of the 'Epic Seven' Illustration Contest, appears as a limited hero ■ Excellent ally protection capabilities... Features damage reflection to enemies with unique buff 'Lingering Scent' ■ Spring season major update implemented... A customized update satisfying both new and existing players
Smilegate Megaport announced on Friday, April 3, that it has implemented the new limited hero 'Perfumer Byblis' and launched the major update 'NEW ERA,' adding large-scale convenience improvements and new systems to the mobile RPG 'Epic Seven,' which it services and is developed by SUPER CREATIVE.
The new hero 'Perfumer Byblis' is the magnificent grand prize winner of the '4th Epic Seven Illustration Contest <New Costume Category>' held last year on the illustration, manga, and novel community site 'pixiv,' and will appear for a limited time from Thursday, April 2, to Thursday, April 23 at 11:59.
'Perfumer Byblis' is the head of the Lalunda family and the hidden persona of the renowned mage 'Byblis,' appearing as the shopkeeper of a secretive perfume shop that operates only at night in the back alleys of Ezera.
'Perfumer Byblis,' a 5-star Fire Soul Weaver, protects allies by continuously granting the new buff 'Lingering Scent' and is characterized by the ability to reflect damage to enemies through this unique buff. Additionally, when using Skill 3 'La Mort Aura,' she can provoke all enemies for 1 turn, inflict 'Venom,' and deal high damage by detonating it immediately at the end of the turn.

In addition to 'Perfumer Byblis,' the spring season major update announced at the showcase on Saturday, March 28, has also been implemented. This update focuses on strengthening play motivation centered around a new reward system, improving the convenience of equipment crafting and management, and lowering the barrier to entry for the World Arena utilizing a BAN/PICK assistant. In particular, customized solutions that satisfy both new and existing players are drawing attention.
First, the new cumulative reward system 'Guiding Light' has been added, where players can earn various rewards, including at least 10 5-star Moonlight Heroes. Furthermore, the overall convenience of equipment management has significantly improved, such as the ability to craft desired equipment at least once a month through batch equipment enhancement features and improvements to the Steel Workshop.
Even more notable is the BAN/PICK assistant system introduced to the World Arena, a real-time PVP content. This system utilizes a BAN/PICK recommendation feature
