This project contributes to building a sustainable world through cashless payments. For this 16th edition, every time you use your smartphone for a 'Credit Card Ride' for daily commuting, Sumitomo Mitsui Card will donate 10 yen per ride to JEAN, a general incorporated association working to solve marine debris issues, with a maximum donation limit of 3 million yen. 'Touch Happy' is a project where Sumitomo Mitsui Card makes donations to organizations tackling social issues for the next generation, based on the number of contactless payments made with eligible cards. Since its launch in February 2020, the project has donated a total of approximately 56 million yen to over 10 partner organizations. Now that contactless card payments have become a part of daily life, the project has been partially renewed to change the target usage for each edition, allowing customers to experience the convenience of 'contactless payment' in scenes beyond shopping. The theme for the 16th edition, the first after the renewal, is 'Your Credit Card Ride Leads to Social Contribution.'
