The Japan Small and Medium Business Owners Association (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Tetsuaki Ishiguro) will hold the "Subsidy and Grant Utilization Seminar 2026 in Matsuyama" on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, from 14:00 to 16:00 at the Ehime Prefectural Cultural Hall (Matsuyama City, Ehime Prefecture). This seminar will comprehensively explain subsidies and grants that SMEs should know about, especially amidst the ongoing rise in labor and raw material costs. It will cover everything from how to find schemes applicable to one's own company to practical know-how for ensuring successful applications.

Subsidy and Grant Utilization Seminar 2026 in Matsuyama

Lecture on the latest information regarding subsidy and grant systems that reduce management costs for SMEs.

Recently, an increasing number of companies are experiencing pressure on their management due to soaring labor costs, raw material costs, and other factors. In this situation, national and local governments offer numerous support programs to encourage hiring, wage increases, and capital investment by SMEs. However, the reality is that most companies are not utilizing these valuable programs due to reasons such as "cannot determine which ones are applicable to our company," "application seems too difficult to attempt," or "don't even know who to consult." In fact, only 5.5% of companies are utilizing subsidies and grants, indicating a serious information gap where many SMEs are missing out on support they could otherwise receive.

To alleviate this disparity, this seminar will explain carefully selected subsidies and grants for SMEs. Last year, the association conducted over 100 lectures nationwide, with more than 9,000 participants. This time, it will be held in a large venue in Ehime Prefecture for the first time. Based on future trends and regional information for Ehime Prefecture, we will provide concrete measures that can be immediately implemented after the seminar.
