The Japan Small and Medium Business Owners Association (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Tetsuaki Ishiguro) will hold the "Grant & Subsidy Utilization Seminar 2026 in Sendai" on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, from 15:00 to 16:30 at the Sendai Civic Center (Aoba-ku, Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture). This seminar will provide a comprehensive explanation of the grants and subsidies that small and medium-sized enterprises should be aware of, especially now as labor and raw material costs continue to rise. Topics will range from how to identify schemes applicable to your company to practical know-how for ensuring successful applications.

Lecturing on the latest information regarding grant and subsidy schemes to reduce management costs for small and medium-sized enterprises

Recently, an increasing number of companies have seen their management pressured by the rising costs of labor and raw materials. In response, the national and local governments have prepared numerous support schemes to boost recruitment, wage increases, and capital investment for small and medium-sized enterprises. However, the reality is that the majority of companies are failing to utilize these schemes due to reasons such as "not being able to determine which ones apply to their company," "finding the application process too difficult," or "not knowing who to consult in the first place." In fact, only 5.5% of companies are successfully utilizing grants and subsidies, creating a serious information gap where many small and medium-sized enterprises are missing out on support they are entitled to receive.

To help bridge this gap, this seminar will explain a selection of the best grants and subsidies for small and medium-sized enterprises. Having conducted over 100 lectures nationwide last year with over 9,000 participating companies, we are now bringing this seminar to Sendai. Based on future trends and regional information for Miyagi Prefecture, we will provide concrete measures that can be implemented immediately after the seminar.
