The Tokyo Metropolitan Government is promoting smart city initiatives to unlock Tokyo's potential through digital power and make citizens' lives more comfortable and convenient. To further advance smart cities and provide an opportunity for citizens to experience various advanced services that enrich life using the latest digital technologies, thereby feeling the convenience of a future city, the "Smart City Festa" will be held in the Nishi-Shinjuku area for three days from Friday, April 24, 2026, to Sunday, April 26, 2026.

### Demonstration of IoT Smart Trash Can "SmaGO" Compression Function: Experience Next-Generation Waste Management
We will exhibit the IoT smart trash can "SmaGO", which streamlines collection and reduces costs by automatically compressing waste and visualizing accumulation levels, and demonstrate its internal compression process, which is usually unseen.

Since you can see how waste is actually compressed up close, it is an experiential exhibit where children and adults alike can enjoy learning about "how the city works". In recent years, with the increase in human movement, reducing the burden of appropriate waste management and collection has become a challenge that society as a whole must address.

IoT smart trash can "SmaGO", with over 600 units deployed nationwide, is a smart trash can that addresses these challenges by leveraging IoT and compression technology to improve the efficiency of waste management. You can see the IoT smart trash can "SmaGO", which is attracting attention as one of the social infrastructures supporting next-generation smart cities, as an exhibit where you can experience its actual operation.

### Next-Generation Activity "HADO" Utilizing AR (Augmented Reality) Technology
You can have an immersive, game-like experience where you activate energy balls and shields according to your body movements.

By moving your hands and striking poses, effects appear on the screen, allowing children and adults alike to enjoy participating. It is designed to be accessible regardless of age, gender, physique, or disability, and its simple rules make it easy for first-timers to experience with peace of mind.

### Test Ride Experience of Hands-Free Wheelchair "Feeling"
"Feeling" offers a next-generation mobility experience where you can move forward and change direction with subtle core movements of a belt worn around your waist, operating solely with body movements. Because it can be operated intuitively without using hands, even first-timers can ride with peace of mind. A unique feature is the ability to experience a future vehicle in a game-like manner, moving smoothly with waist movements. Through the actual experience of riding and moving, we introduce a new mobility experience that expands the possibilities of mobility and extends the range of human activities.

### VR Dinosaur Coaster Experience with Stand-Up Type Motion Simulator "KICKWAY"
This is a VR coaster attraction set in a dinosaur park, using the stand-up type motion simulator "KICKWAY". From small dinosaurs to powerful carnivorous dinosaurs, a variety of dinosaurs will appear in Reiwa-era Nishi-Shinjuku, allowing you to enjoy a 360-degree immersive experience.
For those who are not good with VR or small children who find it difficult to wear goggles, a display version is also available.

Experience the next-generation VR attraction "Doko Demo Bungee VR". By combining VR goggles with an apparatus that turns your body completely upside down, you can enjoy an immersive attraction that offers the thrill and exhilaration of a real bungee jump. From elementary school students to adults, you can experience a surprising and extraordinary feeling throughout your body that will make you exclaim. This attraction has obtained patents domestically and internationally and won the Best Award at the overseas XR exhibition "AWE USA 2025". Please come and experience this next-generation technology that stimulates adventure and curiosity at the venue.
