Skylark Holdings Co., Ltd. has recently undergone verification of its environmental and human capital-related data by the Japan Management Association Sustainability Center, an independent third-party organization.

This acquisition of third-party assurance for human capital-related data is the first case for a domestic restaurant company.

In addition to initiatives to reduce environmental impact such as decarbonization and water resource conservation, our company also focuses on investing in people, based on the idea that "people are the driving force for creating added value."

We will continue to provide more reliable and transparent data to all stakeholders and will continue to promote initiatives aimed at realizing a sustainable society, including decarbonization, water resource conservation, and enhancement of human capital.

The Japan Management Association Sustainability Center has been continuously conducting third-party verification of Skylark Holdings Co., Ltd.'s Scope 1, 2, and 3 since the 2022 fiscal year. The scope of verification has expanded year by year, and in the 2025 fiscal year, in addition to the previous GHG emissions, energy consumption, and water usage, new social information such as the ratio of female managers, gender pay gap ratio, male parental leave acquisition rate, and overall parental leave acquisition rate were included in the third-party verification. Furthermore, as part of the operator's initiatives for the 2025 fiscal year, in addition to continuing the calculation of FLAG (Forest, Land and Agriculture) emissions in Scope 3 Category 1, calculations reflecting efforts to reduce CO2 emissions at rice farmers who supply unpolished rice have been continued. The responsibility of our association is to conduct limited assurance services on the calculation information described in the calculation report and to express a conclusion, and a verification report was issued on April 23, 2026.
