Gōgin Fes 2026 featured new content, such as a networking lunch held at Matsue Castle in addition to the main event at San-in Godo Bank's headquarters, and offered a variety of other programs as listed below.

31 startups from across Japan, possessing innovative technologies and unique solutions, participated. NAGARA Inc. (CEO: Kazuki Okada), which develops 'Nagara Kaigo,' an AI-SaaS for elderly care facilities, won the contest, highly praised for its potential to solve caregiving challenges in regional areas.

○ Diverse Talk Sessions
Sessions on a wide range of themes were held, including 'The Overwhelming Future Created by Regional Startups,' 'The Forefront of New Business in IP and Entertainment,' 'Winning Strategies for Japan's Space Industry,' and 'The Forefront of M&A Strategies in Startups.'

○ Networking through 'Goen Musubi Booth' and 'Gōgin Scramble'
With over 650 attendees, networking opportunities were provided to connect local businesses, startups, and VCs, contributing to the creation of new business opportunities and the promotion of innovation in the region. Over 100 matches were made on the day.

○ Pre-opening Event at Matsue Castle
Investors (VCs), startups, and local business executives from all over Japan gathered at Matsue Castle, a symbol of the region. This event served to heighten the enthusiasm of participants prior to the afternoon's main program.
