This year, approximately 150 koinobori will be released.

This annual release of koinobori (carp streamers) is held to wish for the healthy growth of children.

As Children's Day approaches, more streamers join the display, creating an even livelier scene.

This year, under the clear May sky, a total of about 150 koinobori are scheduled to be released.

The koinobori swim powerfully through the huge atrium unique to the Umeda Sky Building.

Please enjoy not only the daytime view but also the scenery at night.

One-of-a-kind koinobori painted by local children.

This initiative with local children began in 2022.

Koinobori painted with heartfelt care by local kindergarteners, junior high school students, and vocational school students with deep ties to the Umeda Sky Building will also be on display.

These koinobori, with their vibrant patterns and freely imagined designs, swim gracefully in the valley between the buildings under the open sky in the heart of the city, delivering the arrival of spring and the children's wishes to all who visit.

It also gained international attention after being featured in the British newspaper 'THE TIMES.'

Floating Garden Observatory

From the open-air Floating Garden Observatory, 173 meters above the ground, you can enjoy a dynamic 360-degree view. One of its charms is the different scenes you can enjoy at various times of the day, such as the sunset over the Akashi Kaikyō Bridge and the sparkling night view of the skyscraper district.

At night, the 'Lumi Sky Walk' on the rooftop glows with phosphorescent stones underfoot, making you feel as if you are strolling among countless stars.
