Audition for Japanese Artists to Perform at Taiwan's Largest Festival 'Vagabond Festival 2026' Starts Today! Japanese-Support Tour Bookings Begin June 17th

SKIYAKI Inc. Under a partnership between 'SYNCHRONICITY', a leading urban festival gathering Japan's top alternative artists, and 'Vagabond Festival', one of Taiwan's largest outdoor festivals, it has been decided that Bitfan will host an audition for a performance slot at 'Vagabond Festival 2026', to be held on November 7-8, 2026, in Tainan City, Taiwan.

'Vagabond Festival' started in 2019 and will celebrate its 8th edition this year as a large-scale outdoor music festival. In 2025, Japanese artists such as Non, Conton Candy, TENDOUJI, Haku., and CHO CO PA CO CHO CO QUIN QUIN performed, generating significant buzz among Taiwanese music fans. From this collaboration project slot, The Novembers performed, and from the audition slot, Itahame and ASOBOiSM performed. A diverse lineup from around the world was also assembled. This uniqueness and diversity resonated with the musicality of SYNCHRONICITY, leading to the signing of a partnership starting in 2025.

Partnership activities have steadily built up in an alternating fashion: inviting Taiwanese artists to SYNCHRONICITY held in April 2025, having two Japanese artists perform at 'Vagabond Festival 2025' in October-November of the same year and participate in local talk sessions, and inviting Taiwanese artists to SYNCHRONICITY'26 held in April 2026. This audition is the fourth project in this series, and artists selected by the organizers of both events will earn the right to perform at 'Vagabond Festival 2026'.

■ Japanese-Support Package Tour Bookings Start June 17th!

Bitfan will start accepting bookings for a package tour with Japanese language support for attending Vagabond Festival 2026 on Wednesday, June 17, 2026. This year, there will be only one plan where participants gather and disband locally. The package includes accommodation, festival tickets, chartered bus transfer from the hotel to the venue, and official original merchandise. A Japanese-speaking guide will accompany the tour, so even first-time overseas festival-goers can participate with peace of mind. Special benefits exclusive to tour participants are also being prepared. Details and the application page will be published on June 17th.
