Solamichi System Co., Ltd. (hereinafter, "the Company"), which plans, develops, and sells the cloud-based electronic medical record system "CARADA Electronic Medical Record Solamichi," will hold the event "Experience the Complete 'Latest Pharmacy' for Dramatic Changes in Operational Efficiency ~Putting an End to Labor Shortages and Long Working Hours~" in Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture, from July 27 (Mon) to July 31 (Fri). This event is co-hosted with five companies providing various services for pharmacies.

This experiential event has previously been held in prefectures such as Kumamoto, Kagoshima, and Tokyo, attracting approximately 290 organizations and is a highly anticipated event. It is a small-scale, high-density program conducted on a reservation basis for a limited number of participants, targeting pharmacy owners and executives responsible for system implementation and operational improvements.

On the day of the event, participants can experience firsthand the DX services for pharmacies that support the entire workflow from reception to billing. Individual consultations on the implementation and utilization of pharmacy DX will also be provided.

Through this experiential event, we aim to provide an opportunity to consider operational efficiency through DX and to create an environment where pharmacists can focus on each patient.

◆DX Experiential Event to Support Pharmacists' Operational Efficiency and Enhancement of Interpersonal Services to be Held in Osaka Prefecture!

The dispensing remuneration revision for FY2026*1 further emphasizes the enhancement of interpersonal services, increasing the importance of patient-centered pharmaceutical management, including medication management and continuous follow-up, as well as the role of a community pharmacy.

However, labor shortages and increased workload are significant challenges in pharmacy practice. In Osaka Prefecture, according to the "Pharmacist Distribution Index" published by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare in 2023, which indicates the supply of pharmacists, the index for community pharmacy pharmacists ranked 7th nationwide, and the regional pharmacist distribution index ranked 6th, suggesting a relatively sufficient supply.

On the other hand, a survey on the actual working conditions of pharmacists conducted nationwide by our company*3 revealed that "lack of time" is a major concern for pharmacists in tasks such as "creating and recording medical records," "dispensing (checking, unit-dose packaging, preparation, etc.)," and "medication guidance and patient interaction at the counter." This indicates that while the importance of interpersonal services is increasing, the burden of core daily tasks remains high.

In light of this situation, pharmacy DX is an effective means for improving operational efficiency and reducing workload. However, there are voices indicating difficulty in visualizing the post-implementation workflow. Therefore, this experiential event aims to create a more accessible environment for pharmacies in Osaka Prefecture, offering hands-on experience with actual equipment and demo environments simulating pharmacy workflows, as well as individual consultations to concretely consider the future of pharmacy operations and directions for improvement.

In Osaka Prefecture, various DX services to be introduced at this experiential event were exhibited at the "CARADA Electronic Medical Record Solamichi" booth during the "7th Next Generation Pharmacy EXPO Osaka" held in March, receiving positive feedback from many visitors. We encourage you to participate.

About "CARADA Electronic Medical Record Solamichi"

"CARADA Electronic Medical Record Solamichi" is a cloud-based electronic medical record system that allows recording of patient symptoms, prescription details, guidance history, etc. As a service to support pharmacists' work, it includes functions to check for potentially dangerous drug interactions during prescription and a navigation function for patient medication guidance.

It is equipped with features such as "Medication Follow-up" to support the enhancement of interpersonal services and promotion of community pharmacy roles, which are emphasized in the 2026 dispensing remuneration revision, support functions for creating tracing reports, and an AI medical record creation support function "AI Voice Input" that transcribes medication guidance conversations using generative AI and automatically reflects them in the medical record system*. This helps shorten the time required for medical record creation and improve the quality of medication guidance.

Furthermore, it includes a function to check the status of medical record creation and a to-do list for patient interaction tasks. As a cloud-based system, it allows for medical record creation anytime, anywhere, contributing to the operational efficiency of pharmacists.
