Phased implementation will commence in the first quarter of 2027, with full deployment across all eligible aircraft expected by the end of 2029.

All passengers on Singapore Airlines' Airbus A350-900 (long-haul and ultra-long-range) and A380 aircraft will be able to enjoy a high-speed, seamless connectivity experience powered by Starlink.

Even on Starlink-equipped aircraft, passengers can continue to enjoy Singapore Airlines' traditional "unlimited free Wi-Fi service."

Singapore Airlines (Headquarters: Singapore, CEO: Goh Choon Phong) customers will be able to enjoy an even more advanced in-flight Wi-Fi experience starting in the first quarter of 2027, as Starlink's Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite broadband service is progressively introduced on Airbus A350-900 (long-haul and ultra-long-range) and A380 aircraft.

Starlink, which deploys over 10,000 satellites in low Earth orbit, provides multi-gigabit connectivity to aircraft through its "Aero Terminal," capable of achieving up to 1Gbps per antenna. This will allow all passengers to enjoy activities such as video streaming, sharing content on social media, online gaming, and sending large files more quickly, seamlessly, and without stress, from takeoff to landing.

Customers traveling in Suites, First Class, Business Class, PPS Club members, and KrisFlyer members traveling in Premium Economy Class or Economy Class will continue to enjoy Singapore Airlines' unlimited free Wi-Fi service on Starlink-equipped aircraft [1].

Mr. Yeoh Phee Teik, Senior Vice President Customer Experience at Singapore Airlines, stated:

"High-speed, seamless connectivity is now an essential part of the travel experience. Singapore Airlines already offers the world's most comprehensive free in-flight Wi-Fi across its entire fleet, but with the adoption of Starlink, we will further evolve this service to the next generation of high-speed communication. This will create an even smoother and more comfortable internet environment, allowing customers to enjoy their favorite content and work efficiently from takeoff to landing."

Mr. Jason Fritch, Vice President of Starlink Enterprise Sales at SpaceX, stated:

"We are delighted to provide Starlink to Singapore Airlines. Customers and crew will soon experience smooth, low-latency connectivity in the sky, just like on the ground. Whether it's a long-haul or ultra-long-range flight, Starlink will revolutionize how people spend their time in the air for leisure and business, transforming every flight into a more enjoyable and infinitely connected experience with the world."
