■Regarding the Provision of Power with an Effective Renewable Energy Ratio of 100%

Since its establishment in 1944, Yushiro Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. (hereinafter, Yushiro) has been operating as a manufacturer of metalworking fluids and building maintenance products. Based on the Yushiro Group's basic sustainability policy, the company is promoting various initiatives to contribute to the realization of a sustainable society.

Yushiro will now newly introduce power with an effective renewable energy ratio of 100% at its Nagoya Branch and Hamamatsu Sales Office, following the supply of 100% renewable energy-derived power by Sinanen at the Kanagawa Technical Center, which was introduced last year. This is aimed at further reducing greenhouse gas emissions and strengthening environmental conservation activities.

With this introduction, the annual reduction effect of greenhouse gas emissions, including non-fossil certificates, is expected to reach approximately 448 tons across Yushiro as a whole.

Yushiro will continue to work on reducing greenhouse gas and CO2 emissions and environmental conservation activities toward the realization of a sustainable society. Sinanen will also continue to support these efforts through power supply.
