Nippon Sigmax Co., Ltd., which develops the supporter brand "MEDIAID" for everyday life, will exhibit at the "38th Manufacturing World Tokyo" to be held at Tokyo Big Sight from July 1 (Wed) to 3 (Fri), 2026.
Our booth will be located in the "Factory Equipment & Maintenance Expo" in Hall South 2 of the South Hall, one of the constituent exhibitions of "Manufacturing World." We will be exhibiting not only the Peltier-type cold water circulation wear "Icing Gear Vest 2" which is useful for heatstroke countermeasures in the workplace, but also unveiling the new pad "Vest-Type Cooling Pad" for the first time at this exhibition.
New Pad "Vest-Type Cooling Pad" with Approximately Double the Cooling Area to be Unveiled at This Exhibition
Medi-Aid launched the Peltier-type cold water circulation wear "Icing Gear Vest 2" in 2025, featuring a unique tankless structure that combines Peltier element cooling with water cooling, driven by the desire to solve heatstroke issues and workplace challenges.
This product has garnered significant interest from visitors, particularly in the manufacturing industry, at previous exhibitions, with many positive comments received regarding its cooling performance and comfort during wear. Furthermore, needs such as "wanting to cool a wider area" have been expressed from the field. In response to these voices, we have also added the "Vest-Type Cooling Pad" to our lineup, with an approximately doubled cooling area, available since June 29.
Against this backdrop, and with the growing interest in heat countermeasures in the workplace, we decided to exhibit at this event to provide an opportunity for visitors to experience the product's usability. The new pad "Vest-Type Cooling Pad," which maintains the cooling performance of conventional products while expanding the cooling area by approximately double, will be unveiled for the first time at this exhibition.
Fatalities and Injuries Due to Workplace Heatstroke Reach Record Highs; Countermeasures in the Workplace are Urgent
In recent years, the number of emergency transports due to heatstroke has been on an increasing trend annually. Since June 1, 2025, heatstroke countermeasures in the workplace have become mandatory with penalties under the revised Industrial Safety and Health Act. Furthermore, in March 2026, the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare stipulated that all workplaces must implement heatstroke prevention measures based on the "Guidelines for Heatstroke Prevention in the Workplace." (*1)
However, despite strengthening measures, the number of fatalities and injuries requiring four or more days off work due to heatstroke in the workplace in 2025 reached a record high of 1,803 people (*2). The situation remains particularly serious in fields with high-temperature work environments, such as manufacturing (365 people) and construction (292 people).

Development of "Medi-Aid Icing Gear Vest 2," a Uniquely Structured Cooling Wear for Workplace Heat Countermeasures
Our supporter-exclusive brand "MEDIAID" launched the "Worker's Care" business in 2021 to support the physical activities of workers. Furthermore, to address heatstroke issues and workplace challenges, we launched the "Medi-Aid Icing Gear Vest" in 2023, a cooling wear with a patented, unique tankless structure that combines Peltier element cooling with water cooling.
In response to user requests, we have repeatedly developed and improved the product, and released the "Medi-Aid Icing Gear Vest 2" in 2025, which significantly enhances cooling performance, fit, and continuous operation time, and it has been well-received.
Product Features
