HEIMPLANET, Pioneer of Airframe Tents, Announces 'DARK MATTER' Series

SIDEKICK Co., Ltd. (Roppongi, Tokyo; CEO: Hideki Maekawa) will release new versions of HEIMPLANET's signature airframe tents, Kirra and Backdoor, in 3-season and 4-season 'Stealth Editions' starting April 30, 2026.

Both editions are optimized for their respective seasons, blending field-proven structures with a sophisticated, minimalist design language. The launch represents a significant brand evolution with the introduction of new materials and colors. It is rare for HEIMPLANET to announce multiple tent updates simultaneously; this launch is a direct response to years of user feedback and changing expectations for performance, responsibility, and design.

Under the principle of 'Black for Stealth. Red for Survival,' the new models draw inspiration from Dark Matter—invisible yet essential to the universe's structure. The dark gray 'Castlerock' flysheet allows the tent to blend into the landscape. The fabric features a silicone treatment and PFAS-free C0 water repellent finish. Silicone coating on the surface provides long-lasting water repellency, while the PU coating on the back ensures waterproofness. This combination enhances tear and tensile strength, improving durability and performance in low temperatures.

Built on the patented Inflatable Airframe structure, these tents offer rapid setup and high stability. The 3-season model features a black Airframe to maintain a low profile, while the 4-season model introduces a neon red frame for high visibility in critical or emergency situations, such as on snow. The lineup achieves a perfect balance between restraint and visibility based on field feedback.
