The "Miss Seventeen" exclusive model audition for "Seventeen" (Shueisha), a teen media outlet that has produced numerous famous actresses and stars such as Keiko Kitagawa, Kaela Kimura, Suzu Hirose, Karen Takizawa, Ayami Nakajo, and Natsuki出口, has announced its 10 finalists. This year, 10 unique individuals were selected as finalists from 2,692 applicants, having passed the document screening (1st round), interview (2nd round), and camera test (3rd round).

Public voting is currently open on the special site within "Seventeen-Web," the official website of "Seventeen," from July 1 (Wed) 10:00 AM to August 11 (Tue, holiday) 11:59 PM. The "Miss Seventeen 2026" will be decided based on the overall results, including the number of votes received. During the public voting period, content featuring handwritten profiles and videos of the finalists will be available, and information that reveals the finalists' true selves will also be distributed periodically on "Seventeen's" official SNS accounts (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X).

Details about this audition are also published in the summer issue of "Seventeen" (released July 1 (Wed)) and on the special site. For the first time, individuals can vote for up to 3 people once per day. New initiatives include the issuance of a digital voting certificate with each vote and the opportunity to enter a luxury prize drawing for every 10 votes cast.

About the "Seventeen" Summer 2026 Issue

The cover of the summer issue of "Seventeen" (published July 1 (Wed)) features 5 currently active models who were selected as exclusive models through the "Miss Seventeen" (hereinafter referred to as Miss ST) exclusive model audition, an audition that has produced many famous personalities. The cover features Misaki Irie (Miss ST 2020), Anya Kasai (Miss ST 2021), Rui Tsukishima (Miss ST 2022), Ruki Sekiya (Miss ST 2023), and Runa Nakajima (Miss ST 2024) in colorful summer outfits.

Furthermore, the same issue will feature the K-POP girl group Hearts2Hearts, who have been making waves with their hit songs since their debut in February 2025, for the first time.
