## Charity Connecting Sentiments for Himeji Castle

As a company rooted in Himeji, we highly value our connection with the local community and engage in various initiatives. The charity sale at the World Heritage Himeji Castle Marathon Festival held in February 2026 was conducted out of a desire to contribute to the preservation and inheritance of Himeji Castle, the symbol of our local Himeji. On the day of the event, approximately 700 people, including marathon participants and spectators, purchased gloves, and thanks to this warm support, we were able to donate the entire proceeds.

## Message from the Himeji Castle Management Office

Upon this donation, Director Mori of the Himeji City Tourism and Economy Bureau (currently the Director-General) and Director Hiratsuka of the Himeji Castle Management Office shared their hopes for the "Free Entry for Minors under 18" initiative that started on March 1st this year. "Triggered by this free admission, we want as many children as possible to experience the power and history of the real Himeji Castle through school trips and other means. By having them directly experience its charm during their impressionable years, we want to increase the number of Himeji Castle fans. We believe this will lead to acquiring future repeat visitors who will return to this land as adults, and ultimately lead to the perpetual preservation of the castle," they stated.
