Announcement of Book Club for 'Betrayal of Power' by Asahi Shimbun Reporting Team

Shosukabu.com Co., Ltd. (HQ: Nerima-ku, Tokyo; Representative Chairman: Yutaka Yamanaka) will host a book club themed on 'Betrayal of Power: The Scoop on the Moritomo and Kake Gakuen Issues' (authored by the Asahi Shimbun reporting team), co-organized with the Nerima Political Research Association and the Civil Division 8 Monitoring Committee. The book documents the reporting efforts behind the special reports on the Moritomo and Kake Gakuen scandals.

At the book club, discussions will focus on the structure of the scandals, administrative transparency, the relationship between politics and bureaucracy, the role of media in monitoring power, and journalism as a pillar of democracy.
