Shosukabu.com Inc. (Headquarters: Nerima-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and Chairman: Yutaka Yamanaka; hereinafter, 'the Company') will host a reading group themed on 'Super Brainpower to Lead Others: 10 Conditions for New Business Leaders' (authored by Hideto Tomabechi and Yukichi Maeda), co-organized with the Nerima Political Study Group and the Civil Affairs Section 8 Monitoring Committee.

This book organizes the powers necessary for leaders in the coming era into '10 conditions,' presenting them not merely as spiritual theories but as concrete abilities for thinking, judgment, and action. The table of contents lists foresight, abstraction ability, information gathering ability, analytical skills, charisma, action power, crisis management ability, courage, and responsibility as pillars, indicating an attempt to comprehensively capture the qualities required of modern business leaders.

A major feature of this book is its portrayal of leadership not merely as a position or title, but as a comprehensive ability encompassing 'the power to foresee the future,' 'the power to abstract essence,' 'the power to gather information from the field,' and 'the power to ultimately take responsibility.' Both the cover and table of contents suggest that this book aims to present a new business leader image as a unified system of thought, rather than a mere collection of individual skills.

Furthermore, the book assumes that traditional managerial thinking alone is insufficient in a rapidly changing era. What is important is not just collecting information but giving it meaning, not just focusing on immediate results but envisioning the future, and ultimately taking responsibility oneself while motivating those around. In this sense, the book provides a framework for thinking not only for executives and managers but also for anyone aspiring to play a larger role in organizations and society.

At this reading group, key discussion points will include the difference between foresight and judgment, the relationship between abstraction ability and analytical skills, situations requiring action power and crisis management ability, what responsibility is required of leaders, and what conditions are truly necessary for individuals to lead in the coming era. We aim to provide a valuable learning and dialogue platform for those interested in management, organizational operation, leadership, and self-growth.
