The "ART MARKET Ashiya Tsukuruba 2026 Spring" will be held on May 9th (Saturday) and 10th (Sunday), 2026, from 10:00 to 16:00 at the Ashiya City Museum of Art & History (12-25 Ise-cho, Ashiya City, Hyogo Prefecture). The event's concept is to share the joy and discoveries that come from creating, whether by experiencing things made by others or challenging oneself to create. Approximately 50 vendors will participate, featuring handmade goods, delicious food, used book sales, workshops, and music live performances. Admission is free. Concurrently, the museum's special exhibition "Collection Tree, Spring of the 36th Year - Focusing on New Acquisitions" and the adjacent Junichiro Tanizaki Memorial Museum's spring special exhibition "Junichiro Tanizaki in Darkness - The Literary Master Who Loved Darkness" will also be free to view. Due to anticipated parking congestion, visitors are encouraged to use public transportation. Pets are not allowed inside the museum (excluding guide dogs and assistance dogs).
