Ido will officially join the New Balance family, following her remarkable double victory in the 100m and 200m events at the 110th Japan Athletics Championships held from June 12 (Fri) to 14 (Sun) at Paloma Mizuho Stadium in Aichi Prefecture. New Balance celebrates her achievements and commits to supporting her future performances and global challenges.

Abbygail Fuka Ido – Athlete Profile

Born on June 15, 2001, in Gifu Prefecture. National record holder in the 200m, 300m, and mixed 4×400m relay. Specializing in sprints (100m, 200m, 400m), she began track and field in elementary school (4th grade) and achieved her first national title in the 100m at the All-Japan Junior High School Championships in 9th grade. She attended Shigakukan High School and later Kobe University, consistently ranking among the top athletes of her generation. After graduation, she joined the Tobu Bank Track and Field Club in Fukushima Prefecture, continuing to represent Japan on the global stage.
