Exhibition Content
■ Characterization of Biopolymers and Nanoparticles
As separation and evaluation methods for biopolymers and nanoparticles, we will introduce 'Shodex®' HPLC columns manufactured by Resonac Corporation and 'Agilent 1260 Infinity Ⅱ MALS' multi-angle light scattering detectors manufactured by Agilent Technologies, Inc.
Furthermore, for bio-nanoparticles larger than several tens of nanometers, which are difficult to separate with HPLC columns, we will introduce 'Envision' manufactured by Hyperion Analytical LLC, which utilizes Nanoparticle Tracking Analysis (NTA) method excellent in particle size distribution measurement and quantification.

■ Detection and Identification of Insoluble Particulates
'xSight' manufactured by Spheryx, Inc. utilizing Total Holographic Analysis method.
Insoluble particulates in injectable drugs include not only protein aggregates but also oil droplets such as silicone oil and free fatty acids. We will introduce 'xSight' manufactured by Spheryx, Inc., which utilizes Total Holographic Analysis method, capable of identifying and quantifying these differences. This enables the differentiation of particulate types, which was difficult with conventional methods, contributing to the advancement of formulation quality evaluation.
