shoichi Co., Ltd. (Osaka/HP: https://shoichi.co.jp/), which operates a business for corporate inventory disposal, reuse, and recycling, will begin accepting donations of new and unused clothing items for children in Cambodia and people in need through its "TASUKEAI 0 PROJECT," a circular CSR activity it operates. The donation drive will run until September 30, 2026.
This drive targets new clothing items, unused inventory, and surplus inventory held by manufacturers, brands, retailers, and e-commerce businesses. To address concerns about brand damage associated with donations, shoichi will take responsibility for necessary processing, such as tag cutting, name cutting, and handling of labels.
Furthermore, shoichi will cover the full cost of truck transportation for substantial donations. For shipments via parcel delivery, half of the shipping cost will be covered.
In January 2026, clothing was distributed to a shelter in Siem Reap, Cambodia.
Due to armed conflict near the Cambodia-Thailand border at the end of 2025, many people were forced to evacuate.
In January 2026, the TASUKEAI 0 PROJECT distributed clothing at a shelter established in Siem Reap, Cambodia. Some residents were temporarily living in temples and tents, and the long-sleeved clothing sent from Japan was utilized as essential support during a period of cold mornings and evenings.
shoichi has continuously supported children in Cambodia through clothing distributions and the provision of educational materials and equipment to the Cambodian education support organization "Cambodia Ai Center."
This second drive aims to deliver clothing to children and local residents in need through effective utilization of clothing, while also working to reduce the disposal of surplus and unused inventory held by domestic companies.

Representative's Comment
"In Japan, new clothing items and unused inventory that can still be worn are sometimes discarded for various reasons. On the other hand, there are children and people who need clothing.
Through the TASUKEAI 0 PROJECT, we want to create new value and a future by delivering inventory to those who need it, rather than simply disposing of it.
We support companies that have been unable to donate due to issues such as brand protection and logistics, by covering costs such as tag cutting and shipping. We encourage everyone to send in their unused clothing items."
Masakazu Yamamoto, Representative Director, shoichi Co., Ltd.
