Sho-Bido Sponsors Event for High School Graduates in Iwaki City, Fukushima

Sho-Bido Corporation (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Masahide Terada, hereinafter Sho-Bido), which plans, manufactures, and sells cosmetics, cosmetic accessories, apparel accessories, character goods, and plans and sells contact lenses, provided items such as hairbrushes, mini hair irons for bangs, and makeup brushes as sponsorship for an event for high school graduates held in the Iwaki Station front area of Iwaki City, Fukushima Prefecture, on March 1, 2026.

This event was planned as part of the activities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications' "Community Cooperation Team" and aims to support the new beginnings of graduates with the cooperation of the entire region.

Under its corporate philosophy "Let's bloom smiles," Sho-Bido decided to sponsor the event, wishing that items for grooming would become a modest support for their new lives.

On the day of the event, many graduates, young people, families, and local residents attended, filling the venue with a warm celebratory mood throughout. The hairbrushes, mini hair irons for bangs, and makeup brushes provided by our company were selected with the hope that they would gently encourage the habit of "grooming one's individuality" as items that can be easily used in their new lives. We hope this initiative will serve as a support for graduates to style themselves authentically and confidently take their first steps into their new lives.

The venue featured a photo spot with a giant diploma and a Cheki (instant camera) corner, which were enjoyed by many. Visitors took commemorative photos with friends and family, cherishing moments to capture the milestone of graduation. Furthermore, a "Cherry Blossom Message Board" for writing cheers to the graduates from the local community and a "Letter to Your Future Self in One Year" project were also held, creating a space for intergenerational exchange and fostering future-oriented thinking. We hope our sponsored items, along with these memories, will help them prepare to "face others authentically" in their new lives.
