Shinoken Group Completes Dormitory for Specified Skilled Workers in Fukuoka, Strengthening Talent Reception and Development System

Shinoken Group Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Takashi Tamaki; hereinafter collectively referred to as 'our Group') announces the completion of a dormitory for Specified Skilled workers in Fukuoka City at the end of May. This dormitory was constructed as part of our Group's initiatives to nurture and support the stable employment of Specified Skilled No.1 workers in the Care & Wellness business. By establishing a new reception hub in Fukuoka—the birthplace of our Group—we now have a nationwide reception system across three locations: Tokyo, Osaka, and Fukuoka. This will further strengthen our service delivery infrastructure.

Our Group is committed to creating secure living environments, training programs, and career support to enable Specified Skilled workers to work安心edly and long-term. To date, we have welcomed a cumulative total of 53 individuals (as of June 1, 2026).

■ Key Points of This Release

- Completion of a dormitory in Fukuoka City designed for Specified Skilled No.1 workers, featuring spacious community areas and private rooms equipped with Wi-Fi and furniture. This establishes a reception and employment support system in the Tokyo, Osaka, and Fukuoka regions where our Group operates its Care & Wellness services.

- Transition of support responsibilities previously handled by a registered support organization to direct in-house support by the Care & Wellness division, enabling faster and more flexible assistance.

- Support for long-term career development, including seven workers who have obtained the national qualification 'Certified Care Worker,' transitioned to indefinite residency status, and are now active as team leaders on-site.

■ Background and Purpose of Dormitory Completion in Fukuoka

Our Group began accepting Specified Skilled workers in 2022. In Tokyo and Osaka, where operations started earlier, we have established company dormitories to provide comprehensive support for both life and work. Many of these workers are now actively contributing at nearby facilities. Building on the proven success of providing secure housing and on-site support in ensuring smooth talent retention, we have now constructed and completed a new dormitory in Fukuoka.

The dormitory is located just an 8-minute walk from the Group's facility where residents will be employed, offering a job-housing proximity environment that minimizes commuting stress and enables a balanced work-life integration. The building leverages extensive expertise in wooden apartment development to create a comfortable living space that evokes the openness of workers' home countries and the richness of Japan's natural environment. The entrance features secure auto-lock systems, and a shared community space is provided to foster interaction among residents. Each private room is fully furnished with Wi-Fi, ensuring personal privacy while enabling seamless communication with home countries and stress-free online learning.

■ In-House Support System and Career Advancement Achievements

The support duties previously managed by a group company as a registered support organization have been transferred to Shinoken Wellness, the division responsible for Care & Wellness operations. This transition strengthens our ability to provide direct, rapid, and flexible support through in-house staff, creating a more secure working environment.

Under this system, we have continued on-site employment support and learning assistance, resulting in seven workers successfully obtaining the national 'Certified Care Worker' qualification (2 in 2025, 5 in 2026). These qualified individuals are now active as on-site leaders and have transitioned to indefinite residency status, achieving long-term career development in Japan.
