Shinmei Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Masuo Fujio; hereinafter "the Company") will renew the packaging for its plant-based food series that harnesses the power of brown rice.

In April 2026, the product name and design of "Brown Rice Yogurt" will be refreshed, followed by a design renewal for "Brown Rice Shred" in May 2026.

With increasing health consciousness, approximately 75% of people are currently interested in "gut health," and 29% are already practicing it.

The top food consumed for gut health is "yogurt (89%)," but only a mere 15% of people actually feel its effects.

One of the reasons for this is thought to be "insufficient dietary fiber."

If there is a lack of water-soluble dietary fiber, which is a nutrient source for lactic acid bacteria, the lactic acid bacteria will not be sufficiently activated. Modern Japanese people are said to be deficient in approximately 2 to 4g of dietary fiber per day.
