The paperback edition of "Naruse Follows the Path She Believes In," the sequel to "Naruse is Going to Take Over the World" (by Mina Miyajima / Shinchosha Bunko), which won the Honya Taisho award in 2024 and received widespread acclaim, was released on June 24 (Wed.)! With this release, the series' cumulative sales have surpassed 2.5 million copies.

Author Introduction: Mina Miyajima (Miyajima Mina)

Born in 1983 (Showa 58). Resides in Otsu City, Shiga Prefecture. Graduated from the Faculty of Letters, Kyoto University. In 2021 (Reiwa 3), she won the Grand Prize, Reader's Prize, and Tomochika Prize at the "Women's R-18 Literary Award for Women" for "Thank You Seibu Otsu Store." Her debut novel, "Naruse is Going to Take Over the World," which includes the aforementioned work, was published in '23. It garnered significant attention, winning numerous awards including the Shizuoka Bookstore Award for Fiction, the Shigeru Tsujita Literary Prize, and the Honya Taisho. The "Naruse Akari Series" is a trilogy concluded with "Naruse Follows the Path She Believes In" and "Naruse Runs Through the Capital." Her other works include "Konkatsu Maestro" and "Go, Heianbu!"
