Born in 1983. Resides in Otsu City, Shiga Prefecture. Graduated from Kyoto University's Faculty of Letters. In 2021, she won the Grand Prize, Reader's Prize, and Tomochika Prize at the 'R-18 Literary Award for Women by Women' for 'Thank You, Seibu Otsu Store.' She debuted in 2023 with 'Naruse Goes for the World.' The 'Naruse Akari Series' concluded as a trilogy with 'Naruse Goes for the World,' 'Naruse Follows the Path She Believes In,' and 'Naruse Runs Through the Capital.'
