Akira Mashima, a rising star characterized by overwhelming enthusiasm, depicts a unique "breeding" comedy brimming with passion.
Kota Kuraishi, a new zookeeper working at "Yamatozawa Zoo," is assigned to the "Breeding Support Department," which assists animal reproduction. There, he meets Keiji Kobakara, a breeding specialist. While being tossed about by Kobakara's eccentricities stemming from his extraordinary passion, Kuraishi, together with him, confronts various troubles related to breeding.
This work depicts the activities of Japan's most passionate man who struggles head-on with the "sexual" activities of animals, which are rarely consciously perceived in daily life.

To commemorate the release of Volume 1, a dialogue was held between Professor Hiroki Goto, who conducts insect research on stag beetles and other insects at the Department of Biological Sciences, Faculty of Science, Shizuoka University, and author Akira Mashima.
In this dialogue, with the theme of animal “sexuality” and reproduction, they discussed from various perspectives, including interesting examples of copulation by Professor Goto and the charm of zoos as told by Akira Mashima.
