Master of Historical Manga Releases "Authentic Historical BL" Masterpiece! Volume 1 of "Tenpin" Now Available at All Bookstores

Renowned historical manga master Rie Takase, under her new pen name "Rie Takase" (in hiragana), takes on a new frontier—the "authentic historical BL" masterpiece "Tenpin". Serialization began on Comic Cmoa in 2025, and at last, on Thursday, April 9, 2026, the first volume of the compiled comic (digital-only, available at all stores) will be released.

This is a work the author herself eagerly desired to serialize, and her meticulous attention to detail extends to every corner. The scenery of the city of Edo, the appearance of samurai residences, and even the hanging scrolls are thoroughly depicted.
