It has been decided that the first photobook 'Étude' (released April 14, 2026, by Shinchosha) from Ms. Sakura Kawasaki (22) of the idol group Nogizaka46 will receive a reprint before its official release date.

This work has generated a huge response immediately following its announcement, with the official X account's followers surpassing 80,000 in just 24 hours. Since then, it has become a hot topic each time preview cuts are released, with the cumulative views of these previews exceeding 28 million. Currently, the official X account has more than 130,000 followers. This shows an unprecedented growth for a solo photobook account in recent years, indicating high expectations from fans.

Additionally, panel exhibitions at 13 bookstores nationwide have also been decided. This will be the largest scale in the history of 'Sakamichi Group' solo photobooks. Furthermore, unique measures such as a 'Birthday Card' project where a bonus arrives on her birthday, and a 'Kawasaki × Sakura Exhibition' at two bookstores named after her, are being announced one after another, building further excitement for the release.

Among the many talented members of Nogizaka46's 5th generation, Sakura Kawasaki is a unique presence with a background in figure skating since childhood. She has gained popularity for her 'azato-kawaii' (calculatedly cute) character.

The location she hoped for her first solo photobook was France, which she had long admired.

Through shooting in two cities with different climates and atmospheres, she has revealed an unprecedented variety of expressions.

In the seaside town of Nice in Southern France, she challenged herself with a swimsuit photoshoot under the abundant sunlight.

Meanwhile, in the 'City of Flowers,' Paris, she strolls through the fashionable streets and also takes on 'a certain something' she had long wished to do.
