SHIN-JIGEN to Demo Onsite-Learning Edge AI for Building Electrical Facility Maintenance at JECA FAIR

SHIN-JIGEN, a robotics and edge AI startup, will showcase innovative infrastructure maintenance solutions at the 74th Electrical Construction Exhibition (JECA FAIR 2026) in Tokyo. The exhibition features two key systems utilizing onsite-learning edge AI: a 'Tracking Predictive Detection System' that identifies micro-short circuits in distribution boards, and a 'Thermal Abnormality Detection System' using thermal sensors to monitor wiring heat. These technologies aim to detect equipment failures before they occur. CEO Tamao Okamoto will also host a webinar on May 20 to discuss the practical implementation of edge AI in building maintenance.
